Assessment #1
After a few weeks of learning about the websites Blogger, Flickr, del.icio.us and Google/Gmail I have managed to create my own profiles for each of these and use them to their maximum capabilities.
To begin...
BLOGGER - http://hayleyhasablog.blogspot.com/
I have 8 blog posts to my screen name and my recommended are:
Blog 2: FIGHT
University Infirmity
Burger Stackers
Blogger is a really great site! I never thought blogging could be so easy until I discovered this site. My blog isn’t one of deep intellectual discussion or a view into my everyday life, It’s more of a view into my interests and the random thoughts that I feel need to be addressed (however irrelevant and silly they are).
I edited my blog template so it could be navigated easily and set-out neatly for your viewing pleasure, experimenting with fonts, backgrounds and different layouts I viewed the different objects and gadgets available.
Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/photos/hayleymanwaring-mpi104
I uploaded photos from my facebook, my camera’s memory card and my hard drive so my Flickr really has no theme. It’s just a random assortment of pictures I’ve captured over time.
My Photostream has 14 different images in it and i also made a set of the pictures I found of my cat.
I also joined a group with uploaded photo’s of my favourite singer Bjork and favourite some of the images on their page. I also favourite a guys 3D toy art pictures.
Toy Art
Bjork
Del.icio.us
I have 5 bookmarked web pages including my Flickr, my blog and the Master blog so I could get to them easily and also Bjork’s official website and Catch of the Day so I can keep up with the cheap stuff they sell.
Gmail – hayleymanwaring.mpi104@gmail.com
I learned to use the Google Calender, the interesting languages you can choose from (pirate and hacker are particularly funny) create documents, chat to contacts and of course send emails. The last 5 weeks of MPI104 have been SWELL and I can’t wait to do more awesome stuff like this with the wonderful Matt Barron
THANKYOU!
